Mike,

I think I'd have a spare big butterfly Mikuni if you'd like to try that instead of the Ibea slide. Are you in Sydney?

I was trying to keep 2 karts running so I eventually gave up as I did not want to lose any more track time. I will have to take it out for a private test sometime.
I had never used an Ibea 3 jet carb before so I am not sure I had the settings right.
Alf Capri gave me some advice but I did not have time to try it out.
It started OK but I could not keep it running without choking most of the time.
It will be great when I get it sorted....

Mike,

I was actually going to ask you how the K30 went. I've been following that you had one. I brought 3 back from the US

Hi Allan,

Any update on numbers for Oran Park? I have two K30s I'm trying to get together but time is against me.

I believe you could actually race this kart in the F100 open class that they have been running at club meetings as a feature class. The only thing you would need to do is make sure its to the current rule book such as - column collar, wire around exhaust etc....
