Hello and welcome to KartBook.
We hope to provide the best source of information about Australian
karting - with news and discussion from all over the country. We
know that people want to know more than just who came first,
second, and third. People want to know who had the rivalries, who
had to start from rear of grid, who was just SUPER quick, and of
course who had the massive crash (and how many times the kart
flipped). This is the news we want to bring to you.
We can't be everywhere at once of course, so we're hoping YOU'LL
provide some of the news for the rest of Australia to read! We
encourage you to post news reports from race meetings in your area
using the blog function on your profile page. Include as many
pictures as possible, because people love pictures! Well written
stories will be featured on the front page for everyone to see.
Occasionally we'll try to organise some prizes for the best
bloggers. Okay, so you're not going to win a free chassis, but you
might get a chain or some oil or something!
Upload photos and videos, and if there's a race in your area please
add it to the events calendar! Even if it's just a bunch of mates
going to the local hire kart track for some 4 stroke action (in
which case we DEFINITELY want pictures!)...
Oh, one last thing. As on Facebook, please use your real name on
KartBook. If you've signed up with a pseudonym, you can change it
to your real name by clicking the settings button on the right of
screen.
Thanks for joining up, feel free to ask questions in the forum.
