Shae Thompson Hurricane Open - 5/9/09

I had a good day at Hurricane, scoring my first ever trophy on an open day :) It was wet for the first 2 races of the day and the last 2 being dry, the last one had a sprinkle of rain in the midget class (my class). Race 1: I debuted new wets and to make it better, I started off the front row in 2nd place, I got the start on the driver next to me and I led into turn 1, I led a whole lap actually, but I got passed by Brock McGregor (new wets aswell) under braking into the dipper. I was behind hi… Continue

And when Sarah was talking quality, she was referring to the on track abilities as much as the pretty faces. Whilst all the girls featured in heat racing throughout the weekend, Amy Waters finished the weekend off with wins in the fi… Continue
